Models of Silviculture for Portuguese Species: Old and New Guidelines

Models of silviculture are used for the selection and scheduling silvicultural practices from installation to end production cycle. Most published models even aged stands. Those mixed uneven stands scarce. The goal this study was development Portuguese species; with examples Pinus pinea , Quercus suber rotundifolia pinaster Castanea sativa . Five stand structures were considered (pure aged, temporary pure aged).
